 HOW TO MUTE WORDS ON TWITTER?


- If you want to avoid seeing a word or phrases on your Twitter account newsfeed or on your notification, this tutorial will surely help you just follow the steps. There is also tutorial how to delete your muted words.


1. You only have to do is go to your Twitter account on your mobile phone.


2. On your Twitter account home, click your  profile icon at the upper left corner of your screen.


3. Then your profile and all about your account will appear, find and click the 'settings and privacy'  below 'Twitter ads' .


4. Tap 'Notifications' between privacy and safety and content preference.


5.  Next page is where you can find your account filters and preference. On your filter choose 'muted words'


6. There is a message 'When you mute words you won't see them on your notification or timeline'. Below this, click the 'blue circle with plus sign'.


7. After you clicked it, the 'Add muted words' page will be seen.


• On the top blank, type and enter the word or phrases you want to mute. It can also be username or hashtags. 


• You can choose where you want to mute from notifications or timeline or can be both. 


• Also you can control it if how long you want to mute words on duration, the chooses from the pop up are 'forever', '24 hours from now', '7 days from now', or '30 days from now'.


8. After you enter the words don't forget to save it.


IF YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW DELETE YOUR MUTED WORDS, JUST FOLLOW THE EASY STEPS BELOW:


• You only have to do is press and hold the muted words, then you will see the blue check mark at the left side of the words.


•  To delete the mute words just tap the 'small trashcan icon' at the upper right corner of your screen. 


•  The app will ask you if you surely want to delete that muted words, just click 'yes I'm sure' from the popped-out.
