 How to add a link in description on YouTube


In your youtube video you can add a links directing to your other social media accounts like your facebook, instagram, twitter and more by writing the links on the descriptions of your every youtube video. Adding a links can easily visit and view your other accounts which more likely interesting to them.


1. First step, using your mobile phone go to your "google chrome" browser and search "www.youtube.com".


2. After that change your browser view into desktop site by clicking the three vertical dots located on the upper right corner of your screen then find "desktop site".


3. Put a check mark on the box of the desktop site by clicking it.


4. Make sure that you log in your youtube account.


5. From your YouTube channel homepage click your profile picture located on the upper right corner of your screen and select "creator studio".


6. In your creator studio, select "video manager" located on the left side of your screen then choose videos. 


7. The list of your uploaded videos will show, select a video that you want to add a links then click "edit" below the title of the video.


8. After that, in your description you can add a link as many as you want, for example you can write your facebook account link "https:// web.facebook.com/ yourname", your twitter account link "https:// twitter.com/ yourname", instagram account link "https:// www.instagram.com/ yourname" or either your youtube channel account links "https:// www.youtube.com/ yourname" and more. Including a links also helps to gain more views and followers to your other social media accounts.


9. In adding a links you can copy it through clipboard on the search bar by highlighting the links above of your other accounts then paste it to your descriptions.


10. After that, click "save changes" to apply the changes on the description.
