How to Remove COPYRIGHT CLAIM in video on YouTube

What is copyright claim in your youtube video? It is very important to know if you are a youtube vlogger because it can greatly affects your youtube channel without knowing it. Copyright claimed is a claim of a creator or an owner of that specific object or music that you used in your youtube video without a link or source from them. It can affect your channel or your video if you are already monetized by Youtube because the earnings coming from this video can be declined or worst your channel will be block.

But i know creating a video can't avoid Copyright claimed, so now i will teach you how to remove Copyright claimed in your youtube video. Just follow the steps below.

1. First step, go to "Google Chrome" browser, then search "www.youtube.com".

2. After that, your youtube account will appear, then click the three dots on the upper right corner of your screen then find "desktop site".

3. Turn on the "desktop site" by checking the small square shape beside to change the view of your youtube account. Do this if you are using a mobile phone.

4. As you will see, the copyright claim notification will appear on your dashboard located on the right side of your screen.

5. Select the copyright claim notification by clicking the "view options" to know why you have a copyright.

6. Then the "copyright summary and status" will pop-up and shown the video with copyright claimed. If someone copyrighted claimed your video and your youtube channel is already monetized the earnings of that video will be affected it depends on the offenses.

7. In the copyright summary and status you will also see what is the copyright and what object did they claimed in your video. There were options you have to do with it to remove the copyright claimed.

8. Click the "select action" to edit your video located on the right side of your screen.

9. After that, there were three options that you can choose. Example they claimed that the music you used in that video was created by them or they are the owner. Here are the actions that you can choose the first is "trim out segment" it means that you can remove or trim that specific video clip with that music. The next one is "replace song" means that you can replace and choose other song in that specific segment on your video. The last one is "mute song" means that you can mute that particular song in that segment to remove the copyright claimed.

10. After you choose your actions, click "save changes" to apply.
