Adding a hashtag in your youtube video helps to categorize content for your viewers and audiences. From a viewers searching, hashtags allow viewers to find easily some videos that are relevant and related to their interests. Also it can helps to interact with other youtube channel.

The steps below helps you how to put hashtags on your youtube video.

1. First step, go to "Google Chrome" browser, then search "www.youtube.com".

2. After that, your youtube account will appear, then click the three dots on the upper right corner of your screen then find "desktop site".

3. Turn on the "desktop site" by checking the small square shape beside to change the view of your youtube account.

4. After that, click your profile picture in the upper right corner of your screen.

5. Select "youtube studio" and then your channel dashboard will appear.

6. Click "videos" located in the left corner of your screen and then your uploaded videos will appear.

7. Choose the video that you want to add hashtags, be sure that when your writing a hashtag it is related to your video to make it sense. You can write hashtags as many as needed.

8. After you chose your video, click the "pencil icon" or the "edit" sign beside your video to view the "video details".

9. Scroll down the left corner of your screen, then select "basic info" to view the title and the description of your video.

10. Go to the "description" and write your hashtag that you want to add. You can write your hashtags either on the top, middle or in the bottom of your description because automatically your hashtags will go to the top of your video title.

11. Click "back" to go back to the "basic info" and then click "save".
