1. First step, go to "Google Chrome" browser, then search "www.youtube.com".

2. After that, your youtube account will appear, then click the three dots on the upper right corner of your screen then find "desktop site".

3. Turn on the "desktop site" by checking the small square shape beside to change the view of your youtube account.

4. Go to the "blue notification" located on the upper corner of your screen written a "Your account is at greater risk of attack because you do not have 2-step verification. Turn it on now for extra security" then click "Get Started".

5. To continue you have to log in your password to verify it is you.

6. After that there were option "Use your phone as your second sign-in step". It means that Google will send a secure notification to your phone as your second factor during 2-step verification. You can control which phones get prompts in your 2-steps verification settings and you can select which phones will you allow to sign in.

7. Click "Try it now" to continue. It will appear the log in history of your device, since it was already you who log in just click "Yes" to continue.

8. Next step is you have to add a backup option, if you lose your phone or your second step is unavailable, you are all need a backup option to help you get in to your account.

9. Add your phone number, it helps to secure your account by sending codes to your phone number through text message.

10. Click the "Send" button then wait for the processing.

11. Then the confirmation will appear. Enter the codes that sends to your phone number by Google then click "next".

12. After that your verification summary will appear, to activate your 2-step verification just click "Turn on" to apply.
