PORK SINIGANG RECIPE

 Sinigang is a classic all-time-favorite of most filipino and it has sweet, sour and savory broth. It  typically use meat or seafood such as pork, chicken, fish, beef and shrimp. This is a comfort food that make you warm and toasty. It is also perfect soup for hangovers and remedy for sore throat.

PORK SINIGANG


Ingredients:

•pork, cleaned and chopped 

•tomatoes, quartered

•garlic, peeled and sliced

•red onion,peeled and sliced

•salt

•pepper

•magic sarap

•1 knorr cube (pork)

•1 pack knorr sinigang mix (sampalok)

•bean or legumes, cut into 3 inches lengths

•kangkong, stalks with leaves

•eggplant, sliced 

•water


Procedure:


1. Rinse off the pork well.

2. Place pork and pour enough water to cover the pork. Then add onions and garlic that also provides flavor to the broth. Let it boil for haft an hour and if the pork is getting reddish in color.

3. When the water boils, you can add water if it is necessary. 

4. Put salt, pepper ,magic sarap and include the knorr cube pork flavor and let it melt. Cook for 2 minutes.

5. Once the pork becomes tender,you can add the sinigang mix sampaloc flavor then stir. Also add the vegetables you prepared, legumes or string beans, eggplants, tomatoes, and kangkong.

6. Cover the cooking pot. Let it cook for more minutes. Serve it and enjoy with sour and savory broth.
