How to Use the Scissors Tool to Cut a Shape in Illustrator

The scissors tool is like a cut a paper. The different in Knife tool, a scissors tool is without stroke after you cut the edge. Click the edge to create a anchor point and click other side or the end of your created cut. After your cut successful click and drag one of your section to separate, and you will see the different of knife tool. If you want to create a stroke one of your section click > Pen tool (P) and click the edge anchor second the other anchor to create a stroke.
