Malagonlong Bridge | Longest Stone Bridge in The Philippines | Located at Tayabas City in Que. Prov.
The Bridge of Malagonlong, is one of the oldest bridges and most long stone arch bridge. Located in Tayabas City Province of Quezon in the Philippines. There are five-span 445 ft and (136 m) long. It was built during the Spanish colonial period in Tayabas, Quezon, Philippines. And Malagonlong, was designated National Cultural Treasure under the Historic Bridges of Tayabas on August 12, 2011.
The Malagonlong Bridge crosses the Dumaca River and connects Barangay Mateuna and Lakawan to the eastern side of Tayabas as well as the municipalities of Mauban and Pagbilao.
TULAY NG MALAGONLONG SA TAYABAS CITY
Ginawa noon 1840 sa ilalim ng pangangasiwa ng kura paroko ng Tayabas. Si P. Antonio Mateos. At natapos noong 1850. Isa sa nalalabing tulay na bato sa bansa na ipinagawa sa panahon ng pananakop ng mga Espanyol.
